During our recent trip to Gold Coast, Australia since our last visit in 2003, we visited Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort with about an hour ferry ride from Brisbane. Dorren come along with us this time. The highlight of the stay at Tangalooma, a former whaling station, was Wild Dolphin Feeding and Sand Tobogganing on a 150-foot high sand hills. We were given the chance to feed wild dolphin by hand without touching them. Some of the pictures taken are as below:-
After bought and use four compact digital camera (Canon IXUS, G2, G6 and Sony Cybershot), I finally got myself a new Canon 30D.
I am not an expert in Photography but trying to learn more. Have been trying to decide on Canon 400D and 30D and finally settled for 30D for its ability to shoot 5 fps compared to 3fps of 400D. Having using it for more than a month and really find it good for action scene. The next thing is to learn more on photography and invest on more lenses.

Came across The Labradoodle – Breed Information and Breeder Directory on the net and found it to be interesting.
Labradoodles were originally a cross between the Labrador Retriever and the Standard Poodle and was orignally bred as a guide dog. First bred in the 1970’s by Wally Cochran, the Labradoodle is a very lovable dog, known for their exceptional intelligence and trainability, low to non-shedding coat, low allergy coat, and lack of doggie odor.
Labradoodles are sociable, friendly, non aggressive, and extremely intuitive. Their intelligence and high trainability make them well suited for guide dogs, therapy dogs, and other assistance dogs. Their non allergic coats make them popular among people who have not been able to enjoy pets because of their allergies.
Poodle is known to be a very intelligent breed and labrador being a breed that is agile and active. Apart from being a good guide dog, I do believe the Labradoodles will also be a good dogs for Dog Obedience and Agility Sports. Training for both sports should be very easy and enjoyable. Since Labradoodles show no aggression to other people and dogs, it should one suitable for most family who wish to have family K9 member.

Wishing all a Happy New Year 2007
It is a pity that Mc Laren did not managed to have the dream line up of Kimi/Alonso for 2007 season but then again, even such line up will not ensure that Mc Laren will win Driver Title as well as Contructor Title if the Mc Laren Mercedes car is not up to the par.
Ever since Adrain Newey left Mc Laren at the end of 2005, Mc Laren has not secured any win for the 2006 season. That possibly is the reason why Kimi decided to leave for Ferrari where there is a much better car for him to realize his dream to win a Driver Title in the very near future.
To me , Alonso is a very capable and careful driver that should be able to deliver if a good car is given to him. To this effect, Mc Laren need to come up with something and recent news that Mika Hakkinen is coming back to Mc Laren, not as a driver, but rather as a advisor will surely help on the car development. Hopefully, that will put Mc Laren back on track for at least a few wins in 2007 or else, signing of Alonso for 2007 is going to be a waste. With Mc Laren securing Vodafone as the sponsor, it is surely in their best interest to win again to bring more value to their sponsor.
The Alonso / Hamilton partnership for 2007 season is the very first time that Mc Laren has two new drivers in the 40 years history.
On Dec 3, 2006 we attended a Dog Carnival held in Kuching with Mike Mali Haus who performed a demo on protection dogs at Kenyalang Comminity Hall Kuching. Apart from the demo, there were a dog beauty contest as well as dog competition that involve some twenty popular dog breeds. The participation by local dog lovers were good and the hall was full of spectators as early as 9:30am. This fun show is surely the beginning of more dog events that are yet to come in the future and it surely raise more awareness on dog keeping hobby in Kuching.

I have downloaded GAIM from http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ and tried it for several days and found it to be stable. Like Trillion, GAIM offer tabbed windows so that we can switch window to window much more easily. GAIM support popular IM services such as Yahoo, MSN and others. Gtalk unfortunately is still not included.
GAIM is portable and I run it from my USB thumb drive.
What Is Gaim?

No all dogs are born equal. Some dogs bark more than the other. Some breed bark with much louder voice and higher pitch. Excessive barking can sometime be a problem to dog owners especially those staying in condominium and those with neighbours in close proximity. I browse through Google Earth today and have a look again at The Forbidden City of China which I have visited many years ago.
It will be a place that I will visit again but not now as major restoration process is being undertaken now to bring the best out for visitors that is expected to flood Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games. By 2008, the area to be open for visitors will be 12% more than the area open to visitors earlier. The whole restoration project will complete by year 2020, the 600th anniversary of The Forbidden City.
The restoration process will surely ensure that the The Forbidden City will stand and be around for many years to come for the benefits of the future generations. The Forbidden City still stand there today after more than 500 years, credit must be given to Emperor of the Qing Dynasty who continue to use the same venue after they overthrown the Ming Dynasty and continue to improve them. Most earlier dynasty tend to burn down the palaces of their enermy and rebuilding them or move the administration center to a new location.
The Chinese TV Network has film and release several documentaries on The Forbidden City and The Emperor of Qing Dynasty and I shall rely on those for better understanding on The Forbidden City before our next date with it after 2008 🙂
In the course of my work as well as leisure, I have used and try many FTP client softwares. Recently, I came to know that FileZilla, an open source FTP client and downloaded from http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/.
Once installed, I came to know that File Zilla is just the software that I have downloaded from www.ftp995.com except that FileZilla come without the disturbing ADs :-).
FileZilla may not have many features as CuteFTP Pro but it simply able to do the job beautifully. Uploading big web and files often end with success and little failure. Its ability to auto reconnect for a number of times which can be determined and set by you will ensure all files are uploaded.
Mc Laren Mercedes has announced that Lewis Hamilton will be the driver of the 2nd Mc Laren to partner Alonso in year 2007. The 21 years old Hamilton will be the first black driver to compete in this sport, making history in the process.
Pedro did not proved to be fast enoungh in the last few races of 2006 and hence the choice of young and aggresive Hamilton is surely a better one.
